Vidya Balan – All That Glitters

One of our oldest clients then - Ranka Jewellers wanted to do something out of the box for the launch of their 6th Showroom on Sinhagad Road in Pune.With a strong relation of around 20 years, they knew Saket Communications would do justice to their thoughts.

The launch had to be massive! Ranka Jewellers have a rich legacy in Pune. We had to match their legacy with someone mainstream. We were looking for a face that would be universally accepted and one that would epitomize "Being Indian" to the core..who better than Vidya Balan!

A Bollywood celebrity had been in news off late for the kind of roles she signed for! We thought she was a perfect fit - Vidya Balan had the perfect Indian face, her dressing sense, the way she carried herself and her overall image was exactly what we were looking for.

This was the 1st mainstream Bollywood Celebrity Deal being signed in Pune. The photoshoot was done by ace photographer 'Atul Kasbekar'. The campaign was an instant hit. Ranka Jewellers trusted us with it...and we delivered. For the 1st time in Pune, a client published the ad in 24 leading newspapers - front page - full page. A special 'Chandan-scented supplement pull out was also designed for Maharashtra Times

It was a timely celebrity deal signed as Vidya Balan gave back to back hits with The Dirty Picture and Kahaani. We did a  Filmfare Ad to celebrate best actress award which was appreciated by the actor herself. This campaign started a long-lasting relation with one of the best actors of our era.  Team Saket felt honoured when we got her personalized wedding invitation. With this association, we steered into A-League Celebrity Endorsements in Pune. We are happy that our association is strong.
