It is a very difficult & challenging task for any marketing agency/company to develop a campaign for an established & well-known brand. We also came across the same when we collaborated with Peshwai-Shrimant, a brand known for its traditional Maharashtrian ethnic wear collection since the last 25 years. The point that connects the audience to this brand is the value they’re delivering to people visiting their showroom & the relationship they build with them. After successfully collaborating with them for their marketing campaign across Pune, the next challenge we had was launching the brand to a different city, a city that is very much away from the pace of Pune’s lifestyle. The client wants us to convey the same legacy & emotions via our campaign to the target audience.
Keeping the value of the brand in mind, we came up with a campaign thought that revolves around the relations & it’s connect with the brand. After working hard on the concept, we finally launched the teaser campaign across the city of Ahmednagar, the campaign was highlighting all the important relations that we have in our lives.
After creating a buzz in the market with the teaser campaign, the next challenge we had was to finalize the face for all these relations that connect well with the target audience. After researching on a couple of names, we finalized on four popular faces of Marathi Industry namely – Veena Jagtap, Gashmeer Mahajani, Akshaya Deodhar, Chinmay Udgirkar etc. & then as planned we started with the celebrity shoot & finally launched the campaign across Ahmednagar.
It was important for us to keep the audience engaged with the campaign until the D – Day. Therefore, executed a 360-degree launch campaign on different media platforms. The campaign became the talk of the town as it gained exceptional response across the digital media, gantries, hoardings, all the leading national & local newspapers, social media handles of known faces & much more.
Alas with proper planning & timely execution the entire game plan fell exactly into place on the finally day and our efforts were rightfully awarded by an amazing response from our fellow enthusiastic Nagarkars, indeed the entire launch campaign was major challenge however working on it together as a team was much more fun.
